Woolley Barn was our first home in Ellington.
Here the MD, and 3 other members of the team operated 1 x Xerox 6060 out of 1,000 sq ft. All those staff are still here today and have fond memories of Woolley Barn.
You can see it before it got converted for us on the left.
Check out our very first logo too!
After not long, we moved down the road to the center of Ellington to The Stables, penny farthing included. We had recruited 5 more employees and replaced the existing press with 4 new ones!
Here we were able to introduce our web to print and large format offerings.
Before outgrowing the stables the staff grew to around 20 people and our logo developed with our new offerings, and market places.
2010 saw us move into Enterprise House in Little Paxton, accompanied by a rebrand to reflect our expansion.
Enterprise House’s 12,000 sq ft allowed us to upgrade 3 of our latest presses and we were the first company in the world to have 3 Morgana booklet / stitching machines within a digital print department. Here we gained our FSC® and PEFC certifications, and introduced our fulfilment service.
We also proudly managed to raise enough funds to sponsor our Guide Dog Puppy, Jaydee in these years.
We reached 100 employees in 2015 and moved into our current premises early that year.
Now at Kingfisher Way in Huntingdon, with 43,000 sq ft we have expanded our production power in both digital and large format, and now offer 2 temperature controlled storage and fulfilment areas.
We have trademarked our logo and are now up to 113 staff. It seems a long time since Woolley Barn!
This year we are proud to be supporting Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity chosen by our staff.
We are committed to the continued improvement of our environmental performance and the protection of the environment. We actively encourage responsible use of natural resources by implementing well-developed recycling procedures and a sophisticated electricity and energy saving system for our offices.
We support responsible forest management and we have obtained certification under both the FSC® and PEFC certification schemes. This involves our commitment to implementing and maintaining the FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody management systems through our management, procedures and record keeping in compliance with the FSC® and PEFC rules.
